Welcome to my website.  You should be able to click on the images to make them bigger (except for the one on the header which is a detail of Dancing Birds). I have grouped my art by subject matter . They are not in chronological order but the size,media and dates of the works will appear under the pictures once you have clicked on them. 
   I believe in art. I am an artist and elementary art teacher . When a person makes a mark, a scratch,a dent ,it changes whatever it is put on. It makes a ripple in the world tiny or large. Something new has been added, something has been changed significant or not. If you pay attention to it , art can help you notice the world. When I  make art and teach art I am trying to understand,contemplate what I am making the art about, and hoping the children will do the same as they focus on their art making .  Art,for me, is a vehicle  to become more aware of the world ,whether I am making a mark,an image of something I can touch ,or a narrative,an imagined scenario .
